![]() ![]() I doubt that there is a simple solution to your question. I don't know if it's clear, but what I want is Finale to stop listening to everything else besides note input commands.įinale 2014 Mac OSX Yosemite i7 processor 8GB RAM But if I press CC 20, 21, 22 and 23, Aria Player will think I want to adjust Portamento and the 2 variation knobs in the Controls page. I want to use CC 20, 21, 22 and 23 from my Midi Keyboard to start, stop, skip and rewing Anytune Pro, the software I'm using to transcribe, so I don't need to keep changing apps in my computer. What happens for example is, if I touch the mod wheel, the volume will go down. My issue is not with Human Playback, is just with the actual sound of the notes when I press them, so I have an audio feedback of what I'm playing. Sorry, I did fill the information with my computer specs but didn't know it wasn't showing up here. 2.0 - 2012c.r13, Kontakt 5, Garritan libraries (original full KP2 versions) and a really old Roland A-30 If they exist and are unwanted, they can be deleted there. Other controllers issued by your keyboard like patch changes, channel pressure and pitch wheel data can be identified with the MIDI TOOL. If you set HP to none there shouldn't be any extraneous data provided by Finale. There you can select to playback or ignore velocities, note durations, CC's & tempo changes. In Finale's playback control window there is a playback/record options button at the bottom right of the expanded window. It would be useful to know your setup: computer, keyboard, operating system, instrument library, Finale version, etc. ![]() Post Edited (Flavio Lira) : 1:40:22 PM (GMT-5) Thanks in advance, any help will be appreciated! ![]() I use my MIDI keyboard just to punch in the notes, so midi dynamics and CCs are irrelevant. I don't use Finale as a Midi workstation and I suppose most people also don't. I'd like to know if there a way to make finale only listen to NOTE IN and NOTE OUT commands from my keyboard, and ignore and CC change, Patch change, velocity or anything else, keeping everything else the way it is. Sometimes I touch the faders or knobs of my Midi keyboard, and sometimes the functions conflict with other Midi softeware I'm using and it messes up the playback of notes on Finale. I've been a Finale user since 2003 and sometimes I have trouble wit this.
